About this vacancy
As a Battery Engineer, you will work on innovative battery concepts aimed at improving performance, sustainability, and manufacturability. Your key focus will be on dry electrode coating and scalable battery production processes. Your responsibilities include: • Developing and optimizing dry coating processes for battery electrodes • Designing, building, and testing battery cells and components • Analyzing electrochemical performance and material properties • Translating laboratory results into industrial scale manufacturing processes • Collaborating within multidisciplinary teams (materials science, process engineering, systems engineering) • Working with external partners in national and international research programs
What we expect from you
• An BSc or MSc in Materials Science or a related field • Experience in or strong affinity with battery engineering and electrode processes • Experience in dry coating (MUST HAVE) / solvent free electrode manufacturing (preferred) • Experience with experimental work, data analysis, and technical reporting • Strong communication skills in English • Motivation to translate research outcomes into practical applications
