About this vacancy
As a Traffic Consultant at TMC, you work on diverse and challenging projects for our clients in construction companies, consultancy firms, and (semi-)government agencies. You address issues ranging from traffic safety and flow to mobility challenges in urban and rural areas. This could mean working on improving traffic structures, designing intersections and roads, or advising governments on policy developments in the field of mobility.
What we expect from you
- Proficiency in the Dutch language at C1/C2 level, both spoken and written.
- A completed HBO or WO degree in the field of Traffic Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a comparable study.
- At least 3 years of relevant work experience in traffic engineering consultancy, preferably gained at a consultancy firm or government body.
- Knowledge of traffic models, traffic flows, and the latest developments in mobility and infrastructure.
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to translate complex traffic issues into practical and sustainable solutions.
- Experience with project-based work and drafting traffic engineering reports.
- Excellent communication skills; you can clearly and convincingly convey your advice to both internal and external stakeholders.
- A proactive and entrepreneurial attitude; you take initiative and contribute ideas for innovative solutions.
