Thermal Engineer - Space Systems

About this vacancy
As a Thermal Engineer, you will play a key role in analysis and testing activities, taking care of: - Developing and implementing mathematical and geometric thermal models of products - Performing thermal analyses under both steady-state conditions and transient orbital scenarios - Evaluating thermal performance, including the analysis of thermal gradients and power balance - Predicting test conditions and drafting procedures for thermal vacuum chamber campaigns - Conducting tests in the thermal vacuum environment and producing the associated technical reports - Correlating and updating thermal models based on experimental data obtained - Defining and managing thermal requirements for the subsystems involved - Preparing technical documentation and actively participating in meetings and project milestones (reviews)
What we expect from you
- Degree in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related disciplines
- Experience in thermal analysis applied to complex systems (preferably in the space field)
- Knowledge of thermal simulation tools (e.g., ESATAN, Thermal Desktop, or equivalents)
- Familiarity with thermal vacuum test environments
- Ability to analyze data and correlate models/tests
- Good communication skills and a team-oriented attitude
- Excellent knowledge of the English language
