As a Tender Manager, you play a crucial role within the team of experienced professionals. You are responsible for coordinating and overseeing the entire tender process within civil engineering, from request for proposal to contract award. You achieve this by collaborating with various stakeholders, such as contractors, engineering firms, and government institutions. You analyze tenders, assemble project teams, and develop winning strategies to secure tenders. You know exactly which details are important to stand out in a competitive market. You effortlessly navigate between technical content and commercial interests, ensuring the tender process is executed flawlessly.
What we expect from you
We are looking for a Tender Manager with a strong background in civil engineering and a keen eye for detail. You are someone who works independently and proactively and is an excellent communicator. Your experience and knowledge of the tender process are indispensable for excelling in this role.
- Proficiency in Dutch at C1/C2 level, both spoken and written.
- A minimum of a bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a similar field.
- At least 5 years of experience with tenders within contracting, consultancy firms, or (semi-)government organizations.
- Excellent knowledge of contract forms such as UAV-GC, D&C, and EMVI criteria.
- A proven track record in successfully managing complex tender processes.
- Strong communication and writing skills in both Dutch and English.
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to make strategic decisions.
- Team spirit and the ability to align various stakeholders.
