Technician Process Development (m/f/d) – CCM & Sealing & Stacking

For our client in the automotive industry in the Stuttgart metropolitan area, we are looking for immediate reinforcement as a Process Development Technician (m/f/d) – CCM & Sealing & Stacking

The "Process Development Catalyst Coated Membrane (PD CCM)" team is responsible for developing all manufacturing processes and producing CCM prototypes for component testing

Your responsibilities:

·       Conducting experiments and prototype production in the area of innovative manufacturing processes

(fuel cells / functional layers)

·       Operating and supporting pilot and production systems, including coating, dispensing, and application systems; systems for film and plastic processing, laminating, pressing, and joining technologies; systems for sealant application and injection molding processes; systems for stacking components

·       Preparation, setup, and execution of experiments following predefined experimental plans

·       Performing basic evaluations and assisting in the analysis of experimental results

·       Recording and documenting process and quality data

·       Supporting the optimization of existing processes and systems

·       Identifying and reporting process deviations and abnormalities

·       Assisting in the setup and operation of pilot systems as well as material handling

·       Contributing to the transfer of development processes to pilot or pre-series

What we expect from you

Your Profile: ·        State-certified technician: mechanical engineering/process engineering/chemical engineering/plastics engineering/mechatronics ·        Experience in at least one of the following areas: Coating/surface technology: painting, thin film, application, surface treatment Plastics, film, or paper processing: extrusion, laminating, web processes Sealing, adhesive, or joining technology: liquid injection molding, adhesive processes, thermal joining Automation technology: pick & place, robotics, conveyor systems Operation of production or pilot plants: plant operation, commissioning, trial operation ·        Structured and reliable work style, strong teamwork and communication skills, hands-on mentality and enjoyment of work close to the equipment
