About this vacancy
As a Public Space Inspector at TMC, you are the eyes and ears of the project on-site. You ensure that the execution of civil engineering projects proceeds according to schedule, specifications, and quality standards. This includes redevelopment projects, green spaces, paving, sewer systems, and playground facilities.
You maintain contact with contractors, conduct quality inspections, and identify deviations or bottlenecks. You report to the supervisor or project manager and actively contribute to finding solutions. Your presence on the construction site allows you to know exactly what is happening and ensures a safe and orderly execution in the public space.

What we expect from you
- Proficiency in the Dutch language at C1/C2 level, both spoken and written.
- A completed MBO or HBO degree in Civil Engineering, Land, Road, and Waterway Construction, or a similar field.
- 0 to 5 years of experience as a supervisor, executor, work planner, or in a comparable role.
- Knowledge of specifications (RAW), execution techniques, and safety guidelines.
- You are assertive, strong in communication, and enjoy working outdoors.
- You work well in teams and transition smoothly between execution and administration.
- Familiarity with VISI, IBIS-TRAD, or similar systems is a plus.
