For one of our leading clients in the North Brabant region, we are seeking a driven Civil Engineering Supervisor.
Are you someone who enjoys taking responsibility, building bridges between contractors and clients, and overseeing the smooth progress of civil engineering projects? If so, read on and find out if this opportunity is right for you!
As a Civil Engineering Supervisor, you will ensure that projects run smoothly and act as the point of contact at the construction site. Your responsibilities include, among others:
- Proficiency in the Dutch language at C1/C2 level, both spoken and written.
- Supervising the execution of civil engineering projects, such as ground, road, and waterworks.
- Inspecting and ensuring the quality, safety, planning, and progress of the work.
- Acting as a liaison between the contractor, client, and other stakeholders.
- Reporting on progress and identifying discrepancies when necessary.
- Monitoring contractual agreements and ensuring compliance by all parties involved.
What we expect from you
- Completed education at least at vocational (MBO) or higher professional education (HBO) level in Civil Engineering or a similar field.
- A few years of experience as a supervisor or in a similar role within civil engineering.
- Good knowledge of relevant laws and regulations, and experience with specifications (RAW methodology).
- Attention to detail, strong communication skills, and good at maintaining relationships.
- In possession of a category B driver's license.
