About this vacancy
As a Field Supervisor, you are responsible for the daily management of projects within underground infrastructure. You act as the link between preparation, execution, and technology, ensuring that activities are carried out safely, efficiently, and according to plan. With your leadership and organizational talent, you maintain control over progress and make adjustments where necessary to successfully complete projects.
What you will do:
- Manage, guide, and coach technicians, planners, and engineers.
- Create daily, weekly, and project schedules and monitor progress.
- Coordinate the installation, replacement, and reconstruction of cable and pipeline routes.
- Ensure safety, quality, and compliance with procedures, with safety always being the top priority.
- Maintain contact with clients, subcontractors, suppliers, and other stakeholders.
- Monitor project budgets, time tracking, and project administration.
- Identify risks, bottlenecks, and deviations in a timely manner and act proactively.
- Organize and lead execution meetings and work discussions on-site.
You are the first point of contact at the project location and ensure an optimal balance between planning, quality, safety, and costs. Thanks to your overview, decisiveness, and communication skills, projects run smoothly, and results are achieved in line with expectations.
What we expect from you
- A technical MBO 4 or HBO background.
- At least 2 years of experience as a supervisor or similar role.
- Experience in underground infrastructure, for example in the field of gas, water, or electricity.
- Relevant certificates, such as KIWA, are a plus.
- You communicate easily with colleagues, clients, and subcontractors.
- You maintain oversight, set priorities, and are able to involve people in the execution process.
- You are decisive, solution-oriented, and feel responsible for safe and successful project execution.
- Driver's license B.
