Software Quality Assurance Engineer

About this vacancy

We are looking for a Software Quality Assurance Engineer to join aerospace sector programs. The individual will be responsible for assurance activities throughout the entire software lifecycle, with particular focus on compliance with project requirements and applicable standards. The individual will be involved in the following activities:

• Participation in the definition, updating, and application of Software Product Assurance plans and documentation
• Monitoring software development and validation, both internally and at suppliers, ensuring compliance with project requirements and quality standards
• Supporting technical review activities of software throughout the project lifecycle
• Managing software non-conformities, supporting their analysis and resolution
• Contributing to the drafting of progress reports and assurance documentation

What we expect from you

• Master's degree in Computer, Electronic, Aerospace Engineering or equivalent disciplines
• Knowledge of the software development lifecycle and quality standards in the aerospace field (e.g., ECSS, DO‑178C)
• Experience in Software Assurance, Quality, or development activities in safety-critical contexts
• Knowledge of the V-model development cycle
• Skills in configuration management and static code analysis tools
• Analytical skills, precision, and process-oriented mindset
• Good knowledge of the English language
