About this vacancy
We are looking for a Software Product Assurance Manager who wants to play a key role in ensuring the reliability and excellence of mission-critical software—both onboard spacecraft and in ground systems.
What we expect from you
Your responsibilities:
- Ensure product assurance of the software used in mission-critical space systems, both onboard and ground-based.
- Guarantee that all software development and acquisition activities comply with space sector quality standards.
- Participate in key project reviews throughout the entire software lifecycle.
- Manage and monitor Software Problem Reports (SPR) and Non-Conformances (NCR).
- Act as the customer’s primary point of contact for all software quality and assurance matters.
Requirements:
- Degree in Aerospace/Computer/Automation/Mechatronics Engineering
- Native Italian speaker and fluent in English
- At least 2 years of work experience in the role
- Strong knowledge of software processes and lifecycles
- Hands-on experience in the development of real-time and mission-critical software for space or aerospace
- Familiarity with tools such as DOORS and key static analysis and software metrics tools
- Knowledge of the MISRA C standard
- Proficiency in software verification techniques (testing, inspections)
- A thorough understanding of major software and space standards: ECSS, DO-178C, AQAP2210
- Knowledge of software configuration fundamentals.
- Familiarity with the EN9100:2018 standard.
