Software Engineer

About this vacancy

The resource will be responsible for: - Developing, testing, and installing software for tracking management and traffic (supervision) of intralogistics systems. - Coordinating with software team members and members of other departments during the project life cycle (electrical technical office, software project management office, Field Operation department, etc.). - During on-site installation, proactively participating in on-site activities, including organizing the tasks and managing issues arising from the installation until the site is handed over to the client. - Once the assigned project is completed, coordinating with the Customer Service department for the project handover and post-release support. - Through a continuous improvement process, collaborating with the software technical office to resolve any bugs identified during the software commissioning.

What we expect from you

The candidate possesses at least 2 years of experience in the field of automation and robotics and must have good knowledge of the following technologies:

- C# version 8.0 or higher

- T-SQL - Visual Studio - SSMS (SQL Server Management Studio)

- Basic concepts of networking and main communication protocols

- Basic concepts of automation - File versioning systems (SVN, Git)

- Basic knowledge of Scrum and Agile methodologies

- Knowledge of the Office Suite

- Written and spoken English proficiency (level B1 or higher)

The candidate must have:

- A degree in Computer Engineering, Automation, Electronics, or related fields

- Good proficiency in written and spoken English

- Excellent analytical skills

- Strong inclination towards Team Working

- The candidate must ensure availability for non-continuous travel within Italy and abroad (at least 40% of work time)
