About this vacancy
We are looking for an enthusiastic individual with an industrial mindset in the greater Siegen area to drive the modernization of Delphi to C# & .NET for our proprietary software platform for planning and controlling production machines, within the Digital Products team of the Engineering department.
What we expect from you
▪ Analysis of customer requirements and development of practical technical concepts ▪ Development & maintenance of new/existing features in close collaboration with the team ▪ Implementation of interfaces using OPC-UA for production machinery and ERP systems ▪ Implementation and management of data structures in the PostgreSQL database ▪ Quality control through testing/debugging/documentation of software modules ▪ You enjoy observing processes on-site at international customers **Your profile:** ▪ Interest in digital solutions and automated processes with professional experience in C# and the .NET framework ▪ Knowledge of Delphi for the technical migration of legacy applications ▪ Experience with SQL databases, preferably PostgreSQL or SQL Server ▪ Completed studies in computer science/business informatics or similar ▪ Good German (level B2+) and English language skills, both written and spoken ▪ Independent working style and enjoyment of teamwork with internal colleagues as well as developers from external service providers *The work is carried out on-site with flexibility for remote options.*
