About this vacancy

As an R&D Electrical Engineer, you are responsible for the electrical and electronic design of machine controls and play a crucial role in further technological development. • You analyze and optimize existing products and actively contribute to new innovations within the R&D team. • Together with your R&D colleagues, you manage projects from analysis to implementation, focusing on innovation, quality, and efficiency. You oversee the entire process: from concept and prototype to production. This closed-loop approach ensures rapid, high-quality results and great satisfaction. • You select and specify electrical components in collaboration with colleagues, the purchasing department, and suppliers. • You strictly adhere to safety standards and are responsible for the associated documentation and (international) certifications. • You write procedures for the electrical and electronic aspects of the machines and support production with technical questions or issues. • You report directly to the Electrical Development Manager and work closely with R&D colleagues in mechanics and firmware/software. • You collaborate intensively with other departments, leveraging and further developing your expertise.

What we expect from you

• You hold a Master's degree in Electromechanics or Electrical Engineering with a passion for automation. • You have experience with a CAD package (Eplan), and programming a PLC or microcontroller does not intimidate you. • You are knowledgeable about electrical standards and regulations. • You possess strong spatial and functional insight. • You have a deep interest in machines and their operation. • You are a team player with a strong sense of responsibility. • Quality and reliability are central to you. • You take initiative and make targeted improvement proposals. • You are creative and solution-oriented in your approach. • You have a hands-on and practical mindset. • Experience in machine building is a plus.
