About this vacancy
As a Project Manager Public Space at TMC, you lead integral projects focused on the design, redevelopment, and maintenance of streets, squares, green spaces, and sewer systems. You are responsible for the entire process: from the initiation phase and design supervision to procurement and realization.
You manage both internal and external parties, monitor budgets and schedules, and coordinate with stakeholders such as residents, businesses, and administrators. Whether it's urban redevelopment, climate-adaptive solutions, or participation processes: you ensure structure, support, and progress.
At TMC, you collaborate with experienced professionals in our Business Cell Civil Engineering, and you'll have the space to further develop your leadership skills, technical expertise, and organizational talent.
What we expect from you
- Proficiency in the Dutch language at C1/C2 level, both spoken and written.
- A completed bachelor's or master's degree in Civil Engineering, Urban Development, or a comparable field.
- 5 to 10 years of relevant experience in public space as a project leader, manager, or consultant.
- Experience with project management, procurement, participation, and administrative processes.
- You transition seamlessly between technical, policy, and operational aspects.
- You have strong communication skills, are decisive, and excel at connecting people.
- Familiarity with project methodologies such as IPM, Prince2, or similar is a plus.

- A gross monthly salary between €5,000 and €6,800, depending on experience and qualifications.
