About this vacancy
As a Project Employee/Soil Consultant at TMC, you work on a project basis for various clients in construction, consultancy and engineering firms, and government institutions. Your focus lies in conducting soil investigations, advising on soil contamination and remediation, and ensuring quality and compliance with laws and regulations. You perform tasks such as drafting reports, supervising fieldwork, and contributing to integrated civil engineering projects where soil plays a central role.
What we expect from you
As a Project Assistant/Soil Consultant, you play a key role in various soil projects, ranging from soil investigations to remediation and civil engineering applications. You are communicatively strong, analytical, and possess broad technical knowledge within the field. Additionally, we require the following from you: - Proficiency in the Dutch language at C1/C2 level, both spoken and written. - Education: A completed higher vocational (HBO) or university (WO) degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Science, or a comparable field of study. - 0-3 years of work experience in soil investigation, soil consulting, or environmental guidance. - Knowledge of relevant laws and regulations (e.g., Soil Protection Act) and familiarity with soil systems, raw materials, and soil mechanics. - You can execute projects independently but also collaborate effectively in multidisciplinary teams. You are result-oriented, work efficiently under pressure, and enjoy variety in your tasks. - A valid Category B driver's license is necessary, as you will regularly work on-location.
