Product Definition & Configuration Management
The resource will operate as a Mechanical Engineer for Product Configuration and Definition, with primary responsibility for the official technical definition of the product and configuration management in the ENOVIA PLM environment.

About this vacancy
The role is focused on ensuring consistency among PLM data, CAD files, and documentation, guaranteeing traceability, version control, and proper release to production and internal stakeholders.
Main responsibilities
- Managing the technical definition of the product within ENOVIA PLM
- Creating, maintaining, and controlling the product structure (EBOM)
- Managing:
- part codes
- revisions and versions
- maturity states (In Work / Released / Obsolete)
- Controlling the configuration of the product and its variants
- Verifying consistency between:
- CAD models
- 2D drawings
- associated technical documentation
- Uploading, linking, and releasing in PLM:
- CATIA models
- engineering drawings
- technical documents
- Supporting the technical change process (ECR / ECO), including analysis of configuration impacts
- Operational interface with:
- Configuration Management
- Production / Industrialization
- Quality and Systems Engineering
What we expect from you
- Degree in Mechanical Engineering
- Native Italian speaker with a good knowledge of English
- Experience in ENOVIA PLM for:
- product data management
- configuration
- versioning and release
- Good knowledge of CATIA V5
- Ability to work on complex and structured products
- Familiarity with concepts such as:
- Product Definition
- Configuration Management
- Technical and documental traceability
Updating and maintenance of 3D models in CATIA V5
Verification of geometric correctness in relation to the released configuration
Preparation and revision of 2D drawings using Drafting
Use of:
Part Design
Generative Shape Design (functional surfaces)
Assembly Design
