About this vacancy
Als Process Engineer met een focus op chemische processen word jij binnen TMC de expert die onze klanten helpt hun treatment‑technologieën naar een hoger niveau te tillen. Vanuit jouw expertise bewaak je de procescondities, kwaliteit en veiligheid, en vertaal je technische inzichten naar concrete verbeteringen in stabiliteit, reproduceerbaarheid en milieuprestaties. In deze rol werk je nauw samen met technische teams om processtappen te verduidelijken, werkinstructies te optimaliseren en afwijkingen structureel aan te pakken. Je speelt een actieve rol in audits en compliance‑trajecten, zowel intern als extern waarbij je zorgt dat processen voldoen aan veeleisende industriestandaarden. Daarnaast adviseer je het management over technologische keuzes, capaciteitsuitbreiding en investeringen die bijdragen aan de toekomstige koers van de organisatie. Andere verantwoordelijkheden: - Ontwikkelen en doorrekenen van massabalansen, energiebalansen en procesconfiguraties. - Opstellen en beheren van PFD’s, P&ID’s, design‑bases en procestechnische documentatie. - Uitvoeren van proces‑simulaties (bijv. Aspen Plus, Aspen HYSYS, ProMax of vergelijkbaar). - Uitvoeren van procesoptimalisaties op het gebied van veiligheid, energie, performance en kosten.
What we expect from you
- Afgeronde HBO of WO opleiding in Chemische Technologie, Procestechnologie, Werktuigbouwkunde of vergelijkbaar. - Minimaal 2 jaar ervaring in procesontwerp, procesoptimalisatie of procesengineering. - Sterke analytische vaardigheden en conceptueel denkvermogen. - Affiniteit met simulatie‑ en modelleringstools (ervaring met Aspen/HYSYS/ProMax is een pré). - Uitstekende beheersing van de Nederlandse en Engelse taal. - Bereidheid om incidenteel te reizen, afhankelijk van het project.
