About this vacancy
Are you a trained PLC and robotics programmer with at least 5 years of experience looking for an exciting opportunity? At TMC, we are looking for passionate and dedicated engineers with a strong enthusiasm for optimizing and automating robots, production lines, and factories.
In this role, you will have a central position in creating and adapting PLC programs to control production equipment and systems. You will be responsible for coordinating and implementing solutions for continuous integration and delivery. You will work on optimizing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and ensuring high availability and performance for our clients' systems. Your responsibilities also include supporting development teams with tools and processes that enhance efficiency and quality in the client's automation solutions.
You will work in a dynamic environment with close collaboration between different teams, which gives you the opportunity to develop both technical and communication skills.
What we expect from you
We are looking for an educated engineer in automation, mechatronics, production technology, or a similar field, who has worked with PLC and robot programming. You have a strong passion for automation and are driven by optimizing and improving processes and systems.
To succeed in this role, we see that you:
- Have experience in programming industrial robots, particularly Fanuc and ABB (RAPID).
- Have worked on designing and implementing PLC and SCADA systems, primarily Siemens TIA Portal.
- Are fluent in both spoken and written Swedish and English.
- Are self-driven, curious, and solution-oriented.
- Knowledge of machine safety and the application of relevant standards.
- Experience with vision systems.
- Background in the manufacturing industry.
