What we expect from you

The Role As an Operational Purchaser, you are the indispensable link between production, suppliers, and internal stakeholders. You work independently within your own product group or program and have full control over your procurement process. You maintain oversight, communicate clearly, and ensure that materials and components are available precisely when needed. Your responsibilities: • Placing purchase orders within the authorized budget • Monitoring ongoing orders and following up on confirmations, discrepancies, and price differences • Identifying and managing rescheduling • Coordinating with suppliers and internal customers regarding order status, bottlenecks, and solutions • Identifying issues and independently resolving them or escalating them promptly when needed • Reporting on quality, delivery times, and price developments • Participating in internal and external meetings, including QBR meetings You work in a dynamic environment where precision, anticipation, and communication are essential, and you are the one who keeps the chain moving. Your Strengths You hold a bachelor's degree and have experience in a technical or logistics environment. You know how to negotiate, prioritize, and navigate between different parties, always with the goal of optimizing the performance of the Supply Chain. Additionally, you bring: • Completed bachelor’s degree • Procurement knowledge (NEVI 1 is a plus) • Strong negotiation skills and the ability to manage relationships • A result-oriented mindset • Good communication skills, both written and verbal • Experience with ERP systems • Fluent in Dutch and English
