About this vacancy
As a **Mobility and Traffic Consultant** at TMC, you work on current and challenging issues related to accessibility, traffic safety, and sustainable mobility. You provide advice on policies, design, and spatial planning with a focus on pedestrians, cyclists, public transport, and car traffic. You contribute to traffic studies, mobility plans, behavioral research, parking policies, or bicycle and public transport visions. You translate data and policy frameworks into concrete solutions for municipalities, provinces, or engineering firms, often collaborating in multidisciplinary teams with urban planners, designers, and road managers. What we expect from you
- Proficiency in the Dutch language at C1/C2 level, both spoken and written.
- A completed higher professional (HBO) or university (WO) education in Traffic Engineering, Mobility, Urban Planning, Civil Engineering, or a similar field.
- 0 to 5 years of work experience in the field of mobility, traffic, or spatial planning.
- Knowledge of or affinity with traffic models, behavioral analysis, or mobility policy.
- You are highly analytical, communicatively skilled, and enjoy thinking in practical solutions.
- Familiarity with tools such as OmniTRANS, VISSIM, GIS, or QGIS is a plus.
- You want to contribute to more sustainable, safer, and smarter traffic.
