About this vacancy
As a Medior Advisor in Soil and Environment at TMC, you work on diverse projects where soil quality, environmental legislation, and sustainability are central. You provide advice on soil investigations, remediations, soil reuse, and the environmental integration of projects. Additionally, you prepare reports and maintain contact with clients and regulatory authorities. You work on assignments for municipalities, provinces, environmental agencies, and consultancy firms, among others. The tasks are both technically substantive and strategic in nature. In this role, you combine your specialized knowledge with a broad perspective on legislation, project objectives, and sustainability. You are part of the Business Cell Environment & Sustainability within TMC, where you collaborate with other specialists and have the opportunity to further deepen your expertise.
What we expect from you
- Proficiency in Dutch at C1/C2 level, both spoken and written.
- A completed higher professional education (hbo) or university degree (wo) in Environmental Science, Earth Sciences, Chemistry, or a similar field.
- 3 to 7 years of work experience as a consultant in soil, environment, or sustainability.
- Experience with soil research, remediation issues, and relevant laws and regulations (e.g., Soil Protection Act, Environmental Planning Act).
- Strong advisory skills and excellent communication abilities, both spoken and written.
- Ability to work independently as well as contribute effectively in project teams.
- Affinity with sustainability and circular land use is a plus.

- A gross monthly salary between €3,500 and €6,000, depending on experience and qualifications.
