Mechanical Engineer in Netherlands

About this vacancy

As an experienced Mechanical Design Engineer, you will work on different innovative projects, for example within the high tech, machinery, aerospace industry. You will be responsible for designing, developing and optimizing of different mechanical components and systems. You will work closely with a multidisciplinary team of engineers and project managers, whereby you will deliver customized solutions for our clients.

Key responsibilities:

• Design and develop mechanical systems, components and modules using SolidWorks;
• implement technical changes and enhance existing designs;
• collaborate with other departments such as production, R&D, and quality control to ensure designs meet specifications and quality standards.
• troubleshoot technical issues during the development and production process;
• document technical specifications and designs according to internal guidelines and industry standards.

What we expect from you

• A completed technical degree at Bachelor's or Master's level, such as Mechanical Engineering;
• at least 3 years of experience in a similar role within the high tech, machinery or aerospace industry;
• solid experience in SolidWorks, or with a similar program;
• knowledge of and experience with technical standards and norms within the sector;
• strong problem-solving skills and a proactive attitude;
• good communication skills and a team player;
• proficiency in Dutch and English, both spoken and written.
