About this vacancy
In the role of Mechanical Engineer, you will be responsible for:
- Conducting technical feasibility studies, assessing the manufacturability of parts in relation to design constraints, available technologies, and machine tool capabilities.
- Estimating machine times and setup times using standard methodologies such as MTM, ensuring accuracy in planning and costs.
- Using CATIA V5 to analyze 3D models, identify critical steps, and propose production-oriented optimizations (DfM).
- Defining the complete work cycle, including machining sequences, reorientations, fixings, tool selection, cutting parameters, and continuous improvement solutions.
- Coordinating subsequent stages of the production process, such as painting and surface or heat treatments, ensuring consistency and smooth operational flow.
What we expect from you
- Knowledge of CAD software, preferably CATIA V5
- Experience in mechanical design and solid understanding of mechanical processing
- Excellent relational and interfacing skills with design, production, and quality
- Proficiency in Italian (C1) and English
