About this vacancy
As a Mechanical Design Engineer, you work on the design, analysis, and development of mechanical components and systems for the aerospace industry. You collaborate cross-functionally with multiple disciplines to ensure technical performance, safety, and compliance throughout the entire product lifecycle, from concept to finished product. Main responsibilities: - Design and develop mechanical components and assemblies. - Perform structural and thermal analyses using advanced analysis tools. - Support manufacturing processes and resolve technical issues. - Participate in design reviews and ensure adherence to aerospace standards. - Drive continuous improvements and innovation in mechanical design.
What we expect from you
You are a solution-oriented and analytical person who enjoys tackling technical challenges in a structured way. With strong collaboration skills, you work effectively with others and contribute to a positive and professional team environment. You are communicative and comfortable expressing yourself in both Swedish and English, both verbally and in writing. Furthermore, we are looking for someone who has:
- A Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or a similar field.
- Experience in mechanical design and technical analysis.
- Proficiency in the CAD tool Siemens NX.
