About this vacancy
You will be working at an internationally operating family-owned company that is active in high-tech and industrial solutions. Within this organization, development and production are combined under one roof, allowing you to be directly involved in the full process: from design to realization. The culture is characterized by an informal working atmosphere, short communication lines, and plenty of room for initiative. As a Mechanical Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and developing technical solutions for various industrial applications. What will you do? - Design and develop technical solutions in 2D and 3D CAD - Translate customer and project requirements into sketches, models, and assembly drawings - Create production and detail drawings for components and installations - Perform technical calculations to support designs - Coordinate with engineering, production, purchasing, and other involved disciplines - Guide the realization, assembly, and commissioning of systems - Identify improvement opportunities and optimize existing designs - Draft and manage technical documentation, bill of materials, and specifications - Support technical queries from customers or projects
What we expect from you
- You are technically skilled, precise, and take responsibility for your work.
- You easily interact with various stakeholders and maintain oversight in complex projects.
In addition, we ask for:
- A completed bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering
- Experience in designing, drafting, and constructing
- Experience with various CAD software such as Siemens NX, Solidworks, or similar
- Knowledge of mechanical engineering calculations
- Experience with GD&T and manufacturability
- Good command of the Dutch and English languages (German is a plus)
- A proactive and result-oriented attitude
