In this role, you ensure that production capacity is optimally planned and utilized, enabling customer orders to be delivered efficiently and on time. You are positioned at the heart of the order fulfillment process and collaborate closely with various departments such as Demand Planning, Operations, and Sales. This is a great opportunity for a supply chain professional who enjoys maintaining oversight, anticipating challenges, and continuously contributing to improvements within an international production environment.
What will you do?
As a Master Planner, you are responsible for harmonizing demand, capacity, and production planning. Your responsibilities include:
- Monitoring planned versus available production capacity and reporting on the impact on inventory, costs, and production output.
- Estimating required production hours and lead times for confirmed orders and providing support during quotations when needed.
- Preparing and implementing flexibility options within the Supply Chain to meet demand according to the Sales, Operations & Resources Planning (SORP) process.
- Collaborating daily with Demand Planners to set priorities in order processing and ensure timely deliveries.
- Developing and managing planning bills and contributing to effective supply-demand strategies.
- Analyzing and implementing demand time fences within the Master Production Schedule (MPS). Monitoring the quality and availability of Rough-Cut Capacity Planning (RCCP) data and forecasts.
- Contributing to new working methods and planning processes aligned with the Supply Chain strategy.
What we expect from you
What do you bring? - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. - The ability to make decisions based on data and insights. - Good planning and organizational skills. - The ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines simultaneously. - Strong communication skills and experience working in international teams. Education & Experience - Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or a similar field. - At least 3 years of experience in production planning, demand planning, or resource planning. - Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP or DAX). Knowledge of APS or PLM is a plus. - Experience with production planning, project management, or sales-related processes is an advantage. - APICS certification is a plus. - Excellent command of the English language (spoken and written). - Experience in an international, multicultural work environment is beneficial.
