About this vacancy
For an innovative and internationally operating engineering company, we are looking for a Manager Product Information Engineering who will play a key role in developing and optimizing the entire product information chain. You will be part of a dynamic organization where engineering excellence and continuous improvement are central. In this role, you lead a multidisciplinary team and drive the professionalization of product data, documentation, and information flows. Operating at the intersection of engineering, data, and processes, you ensure that critical product information is always accurate, accessible, and available — both for internal stakeholders and international customers. Your responsibilities include: - Leading and coaching teams responsible for documentation, article control, and engineering support - Driving the transition towards modular, reusable, and digital information management - Ensuring high-quality and consistent product and engineering data, including within PLM systems - Connecting stakeholders across engineering and initiating improvement projects - Building a culture focused on quality, collaboration, and continuous improvement
What we expect from you
You are a connecting leader with a strong analytical mindset and an affinity for engineering and data. We are looking for someone who has: - A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree (HBO/WO level), preferably in a technical field - Proven experience in leading and developing teams - Strong process insight and the ability to optimize information flows - Affinity with technical documentation, data structures, and systems (e.g., PLM) - A proactive, structured, and critical working style - A customer-focused mindset and a strong sense of quality - Excellent command of the English language
