You will work on analyses that are essential for the development and production of vaccines, directly contributing to the health of millions of people.

Your responsibilities:

• Conducting microbiological, virological, and biochemical analyses on biological and vaccine-related samples;
• Preparing, executing, and accurately documenting experiments according to applicable procedures;
• Working in accordance with GMP, GDP, and safety guidelines to ensure quality and compliance;
• Analyzing, processing, and reporting research and test results;
• Supporting investigations into deviations;
• Managing, maintaining, and calibrating laboratory equipment;
• Contributing to validation and qualification processes and the implementation of new analytical methods;
• Collaborating intensively with colleagues from Quality Control, Manufacturing, and R&D;
• Actively contributing ideas for optimizations that improve the efficiency and reliability of laboratory processes.

What we expect from you

• MBO-4 or HBO degree in the field of Life Sciences, Biology, Biotechnology, Microbiology, or similar;
• experience in a laboratory environment, preferably within pharmacy, biotech, or vaccine development; Knowledge of GMP and quality guidelines is a strong advantage;
• experience with techniques such as: cell culture, microbiological analyses, ELISA, PCR/qPCR, aseptic work;
• strong communication skills and a precise work attitude;
• good command of the Dutch and English language.
