About this vacancy
Are you a budding engineer with a passion for materials, data, and analysis? Do you want to work in an innovative environment where you combine experimental work with data analysis? Then we are looking for you! You’ll have the opportunity to gain experience with advanced analytical techniques and data analysis, contributing to research and development projects within a multidisciplinary team. Your responsibilities: • Conducting material analyses and research • Working with scanning electron microscopy SEM / SEM-EDX (must-have) • Processing and analyzing measurement data using Python • Interpreting and reporting measurement results • Supporting failure analysis and root cause analyses • Contributing ideas for improving materials and processes • Collaborating with stakeholders and suppliers
What we expect from you
• Completed higher vocational (HBO) or university (WO) degree in Materials Science or Chemistry • Knowledge of or experience with SEM (required) and preferably SEM-EDX • Basic skills in data analysis with Python (or willingness to learn quickly) • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail • Good communication skills in Dutch and/or English • Proactive attitude and eagerness to learn • Team player with a hands-on mentality
