FPGA Engineer - Defense Sector

About this vacancy
• Design, development, and validation of FPGA modules for complex electronic systems.
• Implementation of digital algorithms in VHDL/Verilog.
• Simulation, synthesis, place & route, and timing analysis of the designed logic.
• Integration and testing of FPGA systems on real hardware platforms.
• Preparation of technical documentation according to defense industry standards.
• Collaboration with System Engineering teams for the definition of functional requirements and interfaces. Support for integration and verification activities in laboratories or testing facilities.
What we expect from you
• Degree in Electronic Engineering, Telecommunications, or related fields. • Experience (1+ years) in FPGA design within industrial or defense sectors. • Excellent knowledge of VHDL and/or Verilog. • Familiarity with development tools such as Xilinx Vivado, Intel Quartus, or equivalents. • Skills in simulation (ModelSim, QuestaSim) and debugging (ChipScope, SignalTap). • Knowledge of communication protocols (SPI, UART, Ethernet, PCIe, AXI, etc.). • Experience with version control tools (Git, SVN). • Native Italian speaker and good proficiency in English.
