About this vacancy
We are looking for a Flight Operations Engineer to support the mission operations of a satellite throughout all its operational phases. The role will involve satellite monitoring, command execution, mission planning, and constant collaboration with technical teams such as AOCS, GNC, On-Board Software, Flight Dynamics, and Ground Segment.
What we expect from you
- Monitor the satellite via the Mission Control System.
- Analyze telemetry, send commands, and manage FDIR activities.
- Support the LEOP through dedicated shifts.
- Coordinate with Flight Dynamics for orbital maneuvers and AOCS operations.
- Prepare operational procedures, daily reports, and mission plans.
- Use simulators, EGSE, and SCOS-2000 systems or equivalents.
- Technical degree: Aerospace Engineering, Computer Science, Telecommunications, Physics, or equivalent.
- Native Italian speaker, fluent in English; knowledge of Spanish is considered a plus.
- Knowledge of TT&C, AOCS/GNSS, and CCSDS protocols.
- Ability to analyze telemetry and availability to work in shifts.
- Willingness to travel within Europe.
