What we expect from you
The Role In a high-tech production environment, as a Factory Engineer, you will be responsible for the design, optimization, and continuous improvement of the assembly process for mechatronic systems and modules. You ensure quality, drive efficiency, and collaborate closely with assemblers, production supervisors, and project teams. Your main tasks: • Initiating and implementing technical improvement plans • Ensuring product quality and accurately assessing material deviations • Supporting assembly processes with in-depth technical expertise • Handling and analyzing internal complaints • Creating and presenting reports • Participating in FMEA sessions and drafting improvement measures • Overseeing change processes (ECs) • Providing first-line problem-solving support on the shop floor • Ensuring high quality standards in collaboration with production • Facilitating and implementing Lean Manufacturing tools In short: you are the technical lynchpin ensuring that production processes run smoothly and continue to improve. Your Profile You have at least a completed bachelor's degree (HBO) in a technical field such as mechanical engineering, industrial engineering, or mechatronics. With your analytical perspective and practical mindset, you effectively identify and solve problems. In addition, you bring: • Experience in production or mechatronic environments • Knowledge of and application of Lean Manufacturing and 5S (preferred) • Experience with process control in production environments (flow, FMEA, control plan) • A strong affinity for technology and a passion for improvement • An analytical, structured approach • Persuasive communication skills in both Dutch and English
