About this vacancy

As a Distribution Network Engineer, you work on challenging projects within underground infrastructure, where you are responsible for designing, evaluating, and optimizing distribution networks. You tackle issues such as upgrading electricity grids, the preventive replacement of gas and water pipelines, and future-proofing existing infrastructure. At TMC, you collaborate with various specialists from our Infra cell, a team rich in knowledge where colleagues know each other well and where teamwork and personal development are central. In this role, you are involved in all phases of the project: from design and preparation to technical coordination with stakeholders and monitoring quality and progress. Your responsibilities include: - Designing underground infrastructure for electricity, gas, and water projects. - Conducting digital preliminary investigations (such as route analyses and KLIC analyses). - Checking existing situations via aerial photos, inspections, and GIS systems. - Managing and guiding (junior) draftsmen creating project drawings. - Developing technical solutions and optimizations during the design phase. - Coordinating with municipalities, water boards, grid operators, and other stakeholders. - Ensuring quality, progress, and technical requirements within your projects.

What we expect from you

A completed higher professional education (HBO) in a technical field.
Experience with or strong interest in underground infrastructure.
Familiarity with AutoCAD and preferably GIS systems such as ArcGIS.
Accuracy, a proactive attitude, and strong communication skills.
The ability to maintain oversight and take responsibility.
Driver’s license B.
