Possible Activities
As a Civil Engineering Engineer at TMC, you work on diverse projects within civil engineering. Depending on your experience, interests, and the type of assignment, your activities may include:
- Designing and calculating civil structures, such as bridges, viaducts, quay walls, or infrastructure works
- Developing designs into technical drawings and accompanying documentation (for example, in AutoCAD or Civil 3D)
- Carrying out cost estimations and assisting in the preparation of budgets
- Preparing and supervising projects in various phases (from initial design to execution)
- Coordinating with internal and external stakeholders within multidisciplinary project teams (such as contractors, municipalities, and consultancy firms)
- Identifying optimizations and contributing to sustainable and innovative solutions within projects
- Advising clients on design choices, feasibility, and execution

What we expect from you
- A bachelor's or master's degree in Civil Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Land and Water Management, Industrial Engineering and Management, Geography, Urban Planning & Environment, Mechanical Engineering, or a comparable field
- 0 to 2 years of work experience, for example through internships, your graduation assignment, or a first job
- An affinity with infrastructure, constructions, or the energy sector
- Strong social and communication skills
- At least B2 level Dutch
- Flexibility and enthusiasm to work on various projects and for different clients
- A proactive attitude, sense of responsibility, and eagerness to learn
