Embedded SW Test Engineer

About this vacancy
The role combines **embedded software development and testing activities**, with a strong focus on designing **satellite simulation environments and Hardware-in-the-Loop (HIL) systems**. The candidate will join a growing team responsible for software quality in embedded and high-performance applications in the space domain. The main activities include the **development of satellite simulators**, enhancement of the **Verification & Validation** infrastructure, and **test automation** for flight software on avionics platforms.
What we expect from you
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Physics, or related disciplines
- Experience (≥1 year) in embedded software or related projects
- Programming in C/C++ and excellent knowledge of Python
- Knowledge of OOP, design patterns, and Git
- Familiarity with embedded interfaces (RS232, SPI, I2C, CAN, Ethernet)
- Proficiency in Linux environments
- Experience in regulated environments (e.g., ECSS)
- Knowledge of RTOS (RTEMS, FreeRTOS) or Embedded Linux
- Debugging embedded systems using laboratory instruments
- Italian native speaker
