Electrical System Engineer
We are looking for a System Engineer – Electrical Systems with strong expertise in power electronics, who will work at a systemic level on the power distribution chain of an aircraft.

About this vacancy
The resource will be responsible for architectural definition, requirements allocation, and functional integration of onboard electrical power generation, conversion, and distribution systems, serving as the technical reference between hardware design, electrical systems, and certification.
What we expect from you
Main Responsibilities
Definition of the onboard electrical system architecture
Design and management of the power distribution chain, including:
o Generation
- Conversion (AC/DC, DC/DC)
- Distribution
- Protection and control
Allocation and management of system requirements
Functional and performance analysis of the electrical system
Definition of electrical and functional interfaces between subsystems
Collaboration with:
o Power electronics design
- Electrical system design
- Avionics and onboard systems
- Support for activities related to:
o Verification and Validation (V&V)
- System integration
- Production and maintenance of system documentation
- Technical support for aerospace certification
Requirements:
• Degree in Electronic / Electrical / Aerospace Engineering
• Experience as a System Engineer or Power Electronics Specialist in complex environments
• Solid knowledge of:
o Power electronics
o Electrical distribution systems
o Aeronautical electrical architectures
• Ability to work at the system and integration level
• Experience in aeronautical / aerospace / defense sectors
• Knowledge of aeronautical regulations and standards: DO-160, ARP/SAE, MIL-STD
• Native Italian speaker and excellent knowledge of English (written and spoken)
