You translate construction plans into smart electrical engineering designs. Today, you’re working on a lighting plan for a distribution hall; tomorrow, you’re adjusting an installation design. You think ahead, work precisely, and ensure the technology is accurate down to the last detail.
This is what you'll doWhenever new tasks come up, you’re immediately involved. Your electrical designs enable colleagues on the construction site to perform their work effectively. Thanks to you, there is a clear design they can get started with. These designs are precise, taking into account cable and lighting calculations, security and fire alarm plans, and installation schematics. This ensures contractors and installers won’t face unexpected challenges.
The projects are varied: from a new distribution hall to constructing a new hospital department. Two completely different technical challenges where you, as an electrical engineering engineer, can immerse yourself fully.
Your responsibilities include:
- Electrical engineering design, from the specification phase to execution
- Switching between various (re)construction projects, staying up-to-date with the latest developments
- Managing and guiding electrical draftsmen and modelers
- Monitoring a project midway; making necessary adjustments and informing all involved parties
What we expect from you
No matter how technical the work is, it remains human work. You are precise, independent, and creative. A new project always starts with a specification from a construction expert or architect. You translate this into a design and adjust it if necessary along the way. Additionally, you have:
- A degree in a field such as Engineering or Electrical Engineering
- At least 3 years of relevant work experience as an electrical draftsman or engineer
- Driver's license B
- Proficiency in the Dutch language
