About this vacancy
As an Electrical Designer at our clients around Västerås, you are responsible for the design and development of electrical systems and installations. You work on creating electrical schematics, dimensioning electrical components, cabling, and control cabinets, as well as ensuring that technical documentation is of high quality.
In these roles, it is common to perform technical calculations and risk analyses and ensure that the designs meet applicable standards, regulations, and safety requirements. You act as technical support during the various phases of the project, from design and production to installation and commissioning. You work closely with clients, suppliers, and internal project teams to develop and deliver efficient, quality-assured, and technically sustainable electrical solutions.
What we expect from you
As a person, you are meticulous, and you need to be able to transform ideas and concepts into practical and functional solutions through design, technical analysis, and collaboration with various stakeholders. We place great importance on your personal commitment and your willingness to drive your development forward. Since the work involves continuous improvement, this is something that motivates and interests you. We value experience with multiple materials, CAD programs, and PLM/PDM systems. You will work on design projects within electrical, control, and regulation technology, and take responsibility for electrical documentation such as circuit diagrams, BOM, connection tables, and cabling.
The requirements for the role are:
- An academic engineering degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent technical education.
- Several years of experience in product and design development, plant design/detailed design.
- Fluency in Swedish and English, both spoken and written.
