Electrical Designer - Aeronautical Systems

About this vacancy
The resource will be responsible for the design and development of electrical schematics and onboard systems for civilian and/or military aircraft, using specialized CAD tools, particularly Zuken. The role will closely collaborate with the systems engineering, mechanical, and certification teams, supporting the entire product development cycle, from the conceptual phase to production.
What we expect from you
• Design and development of onboard electrical schematics (power, signal, control)
• Implementation and management of aeronautical electrical systems (wiring, routing, harness)
• Use of Zuken CAD for:
o Electrical schematics
o Wiring
o Bills of Materials (BOM)
• Definition of electrical interfaces between onboard systems
• Support for technical verification and resolution of integration issues
• Production and updating of technical documentation
• Collaboration with teams from:
o Systems
o Structures
o Production
o Qualification and certification
• Compliance with aeronautical standards and applicable regulations
Requirements:
• Degree in Electrical / Electronics Engineering or equivalent
• Experience, even brief, in electrical design within aeronautical or complex industrial domains
• Excellent knowledge of Zuken CAD
• Knowledge of:
o Aeronautical electrical schematics
o Wiring and electrical distribution systems
• Ability to read and interpret technical specifications
• Knowledge of aeronautical regulations (e.g., ATA, SAE, MIL, DO-160)
• Experience with onboard systems (avionics, power distribution, lighting, ECS, etc.)
• Familiarity with aeronautical certification processes
• Native Italian speaker, excellent knowledge of English (written and spoken)
