About this vacancy
As a Designer/Drafter Public Space at TMC, you work on the design and technical development of projects within urban and landscape environments. Think of redeveloping residential neighborhoods, squares, parks, roads, and water systems. You translate conceptual designs and policy visions into concrete, technically feasible plans. In doing so, you work closely with landscape architects, urban planners, civil engineers, and clients. You utilize software like AutoCAD, Civil 3D, InfraCAD, and/or Revit to present your designs with visual and technical impact. At TMC, you have the opportunity to contribute ideas on sustainability, climate adaptation, and innovative outdoor space design. You are part of the Civil Engineering Business Cell, where professional development and knowledge sharing are key.
What we expect from you
- Proficiency in the Dutch language at C1/C2 level, both spoken and written.
- A completed mbo, hbo, or wo degree in Civil Engineering, Urban Planning, Spatial Development, or a similar field.
- Experience as a drafter or designer in public spaces, infrastructure, or area development.
- Experience with AutoCAD; experience with Civil 3D, InfraCAD, or Revit is a plus.
- You have a sense of space, design quality, and technical feasibility.
- You work accurately, have an eye for detail, and can effectively communicate designs.
- You are eager to learn and enjoy contributing ideas for sustainable solutions.

- An employment contract for an indefinite period.
- A gross monthly salary between €3,000 and €5,000, depending on experience and qualifications.
