Digital Design Engineer

About this vacancy

Main responsibilities

• Design and development of FPGA architectures based on system requirements
• Simulation and validation of FPGA architectures
• Implementation, testing, and debugging of digital designs
• Optimization of timing and power consumption
• Support for product development activities and project planning

What we expect from you

General Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electronic Engineering or an equivalent discipline
• At least 2 years of experience in similar roles (preferably in the aerospace field)
• Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate in multidisciplinary teams
• Strong analytical mindset and problem-solving skills
• Native Italian, Fluent written and spoken English

Required Technical Skills

• Solid knowledge of digital hardware design
• Experience with VHDL or Verilog
• Programming in C, C++, SystemVerilog, and Python
• Knowledge of FPGA development processes
• Familiarity with laboratory instrumentation for prototyping and testing
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in tight deadline situations
• Continuous learning attitude and quality orientation
• Experience with UVM (Universal Verification Methodology)
• Experience in embedded software development
• Knowledge of Xilinx AMD, Radiant, Microsemi
• Knowledge of digital intra/inter-board interface standards
• Usage of versioning and tracking systems (Git, Jira)
• Knowledge of scripting languages (TCL)
