Data Engineer

About this vacancy

Develop and maintain scalable ETL processes to handle large volumes of data.

Collaborate with data scientists and analysts to understand data requirements and provide high-quality data solutions.

Optimize data storage and retrieval processes in relational databases, with a focus on Oracle.

Implement and manage containerized applications using Kubernetes to ensure smooth deployment and orchestration.

Apply GitOps principles to streamline code deployment and maintain CI/CD pipelines for continuous integration and delivery.

Troubleshoot data-related issues and ensure data integrity and security.

What we expect from you

MSc in Computer Science, Mathematics, or equivalent.

2 to 5 years of experience in data engineering or a related field.

Strong Python programming skills with experience in data handling and ETL processes.

Familiarity with Kubernetes for container orchestration. Understanding of GitOps principles and CI/CD practices. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Strong communication skills in English and Italian, both written and verbal. Serious motivation for the Employeneurship model of TMC.
