Cybersecurity Engineer - Aerospace

About this vacancy
In particular, you will be responsible for:
- Performing penetration testing activities on software in the aerospace domain, including critical and mission-related systems
- Conducting vulnerability assessments and risk assessments, evaluating impacts, risks, and remediation priorities
- Analyzing attack surfaces, network services, and applications
- Collaborating with development and engineering teams to mitigate vulnerabilities and strengthen software security
- Drafting technical reports and contributing to the continuous improvement of cybersecurity processes
What we expect from you
- Master's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Telecommunications, or related fields
- Knowledge of principal penetration testing and ethical hacking techniques
- Experience or familiarity with security tools such as Nmap and Nessus
- Knowledge of Linux and Windows operating systems
- Good understanding of network and cybersecurity concepts
- Native Italian speaker
- Good command of the English language
Nice to have
- Knowledge of communication protocols (TCP/IP, UDP, HTTP/HTTPS, MQTT, CAN, SPI, I2C, etc.)
- Experience or interest in embedded software
- Knowledge of reverse engineering techniques
