About this vacancy
As a Cost Expert, you are part of multidisciplinary project teams working on challenging infrastructure projects. You are responsible for developing, assessing, and improving cost products and make a significant contribution to project decisions. Your tasks include, among others:
- Preparing and developing estimates, cost models, and business cases.
- Advising on project issues, tenders, changes, and cost management.
- Evaluating and assessing budgets and cost products from external parties.
- Setting up, executing, evaluating, and optimizing cost processes within projects.
- Analyzing risks and probabilistic cost results. Collaborating with cost advisors, specialists, analysts, and project teams.
- Participating in various consultation structures to monitor and guide developments within projects.
- Contributing to knowledge development and further professionalization of the field.
What we expect from you
- At least 3 years of experience as a Cost Consultant, Cost Engineer, or a similar position.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a comparable technical field.
- Knowledge of cost estimates within infrastructure projects.
- Experience with the SSK methodology.
- Familiarity with probabilistic estimates and Monte Carlo analyses is a plus.
- Proficient in the Dutch language. Strong communication skills and the ability to engage various stakeholders with your advice.
