About this vacancy
As a Commissioning Engineer, you are responsible for testing, commissioning, and optimizing machines and installations. You ensure that everything works as intended—from control systems to safety and performance. You collaborate closely with software and hardware engineers and often serve as the technical point of contact during the final, crucial phase of a project, both internally and on-site with the client. Your tasks may include: - Commissioning machines and production lines (nationally and potentially internationally); - Testing PLC software, hardware, and safety functions; - Performing FAT, SAT, and acceptance tests; - Analyzing and resolving issues during commissioning; - Coordinating with engineering, project management, and the client; - Documenting findings and implementing improvements; - Supporting training and handover to the client.
What we expect from you
- A completed education in electrical engineering, mechatronics, industrial automation, or a comparable field;
- Experience with commissioning, start-up, or service is a plus;
- Knowledge of industrial automation (PLC, HMI, drive technology);
- You can work independently and remain focused under time pressure;
- You have strong communication skills and a solution-oriented mindset;
- Proficiency in Dutch and English;
- Willingness to occasionally travel for projects.
