About this vacancy
As a Civil Engineering Constructor at TMC, you play a key role in designing and executing civil projects in the southern Netherlands. You collaborate with contractors and engineering firms on complex challenges within Ground, Road, and Water Construction. This requires creative and solution-oriented thinking to achieve efficient and safe designs. As a Civil Engineering Constructor at TMC, you will work in a dynamic environment where innovation and technology go hand in hand with practical solutions. You will be seconded to various clients, including contractors and consulting and engineering firms active in Ground, Road, and Water Construction. You will contribute to projects ranging from small municipal works to large infrastructure projects for (semi-)government organizations. The projects you may be involved in include: - Bridges and viaducts - Quay walls and hydraulic engineering structures - Roads and underground infrastructure - Soil and foundation structures
What we expect from you
- Proficiency in Dutch language at C1/C2 level, both spoken and written.
- Education: A completed university of applied sciences (hbo) or university (wo) degree in Civil Engineering.
- Experience: At least 3 years of relevant work experience in Ground, Road, and Hydraulic Engineering, preferably as a structural engineer.
- Skills: Knowledge of design and calculation software such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and/or Revit; experience with performing structural calculations.
- Personality: You are analytically strong, work accurately, and are able to successfully complete projects independently and as part of a team.
- Language Skills: Good command of Dutch and English, both written and spoken.
- Communication: You can communicate clearly with clients, colleagues, and external parties.
