About this vacancy
As a Civil Engineering Foreman, you are responsible for the daily management and coordination of diverse projects within the civil engineering sector. Whether it's infrastructure works, urban development, or hydraulic engineering projects, you are the one ensuring everything runs smoothly. You collaborate with clients in contracting, consultancy firms, and (semi-)government institutions. Your role includes the following: - Planning and organizing work activities. - Leading personnel and subcontractors on the construction site. - Monitoring the progress, quality, and safety of the projects. - Ensuring clear communication among all involved parties. - Overseeing budgets and project administration. Thanks to your technical expertise and leadership skills, you ensure projects are successfully delivered within the agreed timelines and budgets. You serve as the link between theory and practice, and you know how to motivate teams and optimize processes.
What we expect from you
At TMC, we are looking for a Civil Engineering Foreman who recognizes themselves in the following qualities and qualifications:
- Proficiency in the Dutch language at C1/C2 level, both spoken and written.
- You have completed an MBO+ or HBO education in Civil Engineering or a related field.
- 0-3 years of work experience in a similar foreman role.
- You possess strong organizational and leadership skills.
- You have a hands-on mentality and can quickly switch between different projects and tasks.
- Good communication skills, both spoken and written.
- Experience working within contracting firms, consultancy agencies, or (semi-) government is a plus.
- You are capable of working independently as well as within a team and have a keen eye for safety and quality.
