About this vacancy
As a CAD Designer Civil Engineering Works, you are a key link in realizing complex infrastructure projects. You create detailed technical drawings that form the basis for the execution of civil engineering works. This could include everything from designing new roads and bike paths to installing sewer systems or organizing public spaces. You translate the vision of project engineers and designers into clear, precise, and executable drawings, whether in 2D or 3D.
To accomplish this, you use advanced CAD software such as AutoCAD and Civil 3D, focusing on the details that make a difference: from developing underground infrastructure to the finishing of aboveground elements. You ensure that all drawings are technically feasible, meet the applicable standards, and are ready for implementation. Together with your team, you work on the future of our infrastructure, from improving highway traffic flow to making urban neighborhoods more sustainable.
What will you specifically do?
- You create technical drawings for civil projects, such as roads, bike paths, sewer systems, and site works;
- You work with AutoCAD and Civil 3D to produce both 2D and 3D drawings that translate designs into practical implementation plans;
- You incorporate data, calculations, and specifications into the drawings, ensuring everything is accurate and feasible;
- You support project teams by delivering the correct drawings in a timely manner and implementing changes quickly and accurately;
- You collaborate with various disciplines, such as project managers, engineers, and designers, to develop an integrated design;
- You review drawings for technical feasibility, accuracy, and compliance with the specified requirements;
- You ensure that project documentation is well-maintained and updated so the project team always has access to accurate information.
What we expect from you
- 2–5 years of relevant experience in civil engineering drafting tasks.
- Proficient in CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, Civil 3D; knowledge of Revit/CAD software for infrastructure is a plus).
- Basic to advanced knowledge of civil engineering: roads, sewer systems, earthworks, profiles, and RAW/standards.
- Able to independently create and modify drawings based on design or project information.
- Capable of reading, interpreting, and verifying technical drawings for accuracy.
- Understanding of dimensions, detail level, and quality standards within infrastructure projects.
