Business Analyst - Defense Sector

About this vacancy
The resource will be involved in complex project contexts related to the defense sector and will support activities such as performance analysis, planning, and monitoring of programs and assignments. The role requires strong skills in interpreting data, processes, and business requirements, facilitating the connection between technical and managerial stakeholders.
Main Responsibilities- Analyze business requirements and translate them into functional specifications
- Support the monitoring of project costs, timelines, and performance (KPIs)
- Prepare managerial reports and progress dashboards
- Collaborate with technical teams (engineering, V&V, development) and internal/external stakeholders
- Contribute to the definition and optimization of operational processes
- Support activities related to planning, budgeting, and forecasting
- Analyze project risks and opportunities, proposing corrective actions
- Ensure alignment with industry standards and procedures (including in regulated environments)
What we expect from you
- Degree in Management Engineering, Economics, or related fields
- Experience (even brief) in roles such as Business Analysis, PMO, or management control
- Good knowledge of data analysis tools (advanced Excel, PowerPoint)
- Process modeling skills (e.g., BPMN or similar)
- Familiarity with KPIs, budgeting, and reporting
- Native Italian speaker with good knowledge of English
