About this vacancy
For an innovative pharmaceutical client, we are looking for a Bioprocess Technician. In this role, you will contribute to the production of vaccines in a high-quality GMP environment, where quality, safety, and precision are paramount. You will be involved in various process steps, including the production, processing, and filling of vaccines. You will work with automated equipment and perform aseptic tasks within cleanrooms. Additionally, you will ensure correct documentation according to GMP guidelines, resolve minor technical disruptions, and actively contribute to continuous improvements within the production process.
Responsibilities:
- Producing vaccines in cleanrooms according to GMP guidelines and applicable work documents;
- actively participating in various process steps, both inside and outside the cleanroom;
- working with automated filling equipment and other production installations;
- independently resolving minor disruptions and accurately documenting performed tasks;
- performing supporting tasks, such as setting up equipment and following cleaning procedures;
- identifying, reporting, and assessing deviations within the production process;
- contributing to a safe, high-quality, and efficient working environment by actively thinking about process improvements;
- improving work instructions and methods in collaboration with process owners and colleagues.
What we expect from you
- You have completed an MBO-education (level 4) or HBO-education in a relevant field, such as Life Sciences, Biotechnology, Laboratory Technology, or similar;
- experience in a GMP environment, for example in the pharmaceutical, food, or feed industry, is a plus but not a strict requirement;
- you have a good command of the Dutch language and communicate clearly, both verbally and in writing;
- you are enthusiastic about a career in an innovative pharmaceutical environment and are open to pursuing education and training opportunities to further develop yourself;
- you work meticulously, follow procedures carefully, and take responsibility for your tasks;
- in addition, you are proactive and independently take on tasks as needed;
- you are willing to work in shifts.
